I had an ex-boyfriend who was fantastically adept at opening my stubborn beer bottles with his bare teeth. A fun party trick, for sure, but I cringed at the thought of how many thousands of dollars his parents had paid to fund his orthodontic work just for him to crack open my Corona with his mouth.
I've long since moved on from my tooth-chipping ex, and have also said adios to my crusty old can opener when it comes to getting those tops off my bottles. Enter BadButtons with fun bottle openers, buttons, created by Kate Black. Her selection ranges from cute (Vintage vamps adorned by a glitter background) to unapologetically snarky ("Diets make you pissy" and "Logic is the new black" come to mind).
I chose the Brooklyn design because if I can't live there, I might as well live variously through my new bottle opener. Bravo, Kate. Bravo.
